Day One 8am - Breakfast at the Inn 9:30am -Go to Top Shelf and get a picnic lunch 10:00am - Go to Peninsula State Park and hike or bike (rentals available), climb the tower and see the Peninsula from above the tree line…tour The Eagle Bluff Lighthouse.stop and lunch on a bluff overlooking the Bay 2:00pm - Head over to Fred & Fuzzy’s for a cold beer while you sit outside on the Bay. 4:00pm -Return to the Inn for snacks and wander over to the shops at Country Walk located right next to us…favorites are The Cookbook for unique cooking gadgets and Azure Menswear for the latest in style. Tell Gary we sent you! 6:30pm - Go out to any one of our fabulous restaurants in Sister Bay. We suggest Inn at Kristofer’s (within walking distance) or The Waterfront…both have beautiful sunsets! 8pm- Come back to the Inn spend a some time in our whirlpool and sauna to ease any aches of the day. |

Day Two 8am - Breakfast at the Inn 9:30am - head to Egg Harbor to shop…some favorites are Patricia’s Shoppe for women’s jewelry and accessories or Door County Nature Works with beautiful home furnishings and accessories. 12:00pm - Have lunch at Door County’s only Brew Pub..Shipwrecked. 1:00pm - Drive to Carlsville and take a horseback ride at Kurtz’ Corral…Not a horse fan. How about 18 holes at The Orchards…in Egg Harbor 3:00pm - Head over to Stone’s Throw Winery for a tasting of Door County’s delicious wine. 5:00pm - Head back to the Inn to rest up before having some of the best local fish served as a Fish Boil. 6:30pm - Go to The Old Post Office in Ephraim for a traditional Fish Boil on the waters of Green Bay. 8:30pm - How long has it been since you’ve been to the Drive-In??? Yes we have one that shows double feature every night…no smooching in the backseat!!! Day Three 8am - Breakfast at the Inn 9:30am - Head over to Ephraim and rent a Pontoon boat for a half day trip. The best way to see Door County. 1:00pm - Walk across the street and have lunch at Wilson’s…or just a large custard cone…best around. 3pm - (if it is a Wednesday) come back to Sister Bay and go downtown to our beach/park for a Free Concert. 4:30pm -Wander the shops in downtown Sister Bay .Sister Bay Craft & Gifts Shop and On Deck are some favorites. 6:00pm - Back to Fish Creek for a fabulous dinner at The English Inn…too tired for a big meal how about walking to the Northern Grille for great pizza…located right behind the Inn. 7:30pm - Take in a play at one of our two fabulous outdoor theaters…Peninsula Players or American Folklore Theater. Both are not to be missed! |

Day Four 8:00am - Breakfast at the Inn 9:00am - Head North to Washington Island…catch the Ferry out of Gills Rock… take the Cherry Train and learn about the history of the Island.. Visit the Ostrich farm. Have lunch at The Washington Hotel and Culinary School. The Chef uses all locally grown produce, game and fish! A real taste of Door County. 4:00pm - Return to Gills Rock. Wander the shops of Gills Rock..Charlie’s Smokehouse is a favorite for locally caught and smoked fish. On your way back to the Inn stop at Seaquist Orchards.. Many of the cherries and apples that you will taste in Door County come from here. 6:00pm - Continue your culinary day by taking a cooking class at The Savory Spoon in Ellison Bay, housed in a historic schoolhouse. Evening classes are for couples and after you learn and cook the meal (many highlighting Door County produce, game and fish) you will sit down and eat your hard work. . This is a fun way to end a trip to Door County. Day Five 8:00am - Breakfast at the Inn 9:30am - Head out for a day of Art Galleries and Antiquing. Stop by the newly located David Frykman Gallery located in Sister Bay. Also visit Champeau Gallery which features artwork in our lobby. Chelsea Antiques, also located in Sister Bay, features antiques from England. Many of the antiques in the Inn were purchased there. Ephraim has many Art Galleries including the famous Fine Line Gallery with beautiful outdoor sculptures. Fish Creek has the beautiful Edgewood Orchard which changes shows all season. 12:00pm - Have lunch at The Chef’s Hat in Ephraim and stroll along the Bay after your yummy meal. 1:00pm - Wander through downtown Ephraim shops and galleries. Stop at The Blue Dolphin Gallery for unique home art and scultpture. Don’t forget The City Farmer, also in Ephraim. 5:30pm - Back to Fish Creek for an unforgettable dinner at The Whistling Swan. Sit on their porch and people watch! 7:00pm - Take a Trolley Tour (also in Fish Creek)…this will be a Ghost Tour….boo! This tour gives you a very historic perspective of the county. It may scare a few folks as well! |
